Engagement Photos Are In!!!

What else can we say? Jen Chase is wonderful. Period.

The photographs have a cinematic quality to them: windswept and passionate, tender and rustic. I adore all of them. How will we ever find one to run in the paper?!

Posted a smattering of pictures on Facebook, and sent the whole collection out on SnapFish.

Let us know which one we should go with!!!! We need one for the newspaper, one for mailing out to relatives, and the rest I'm totally going to frame and hang all over the house. Now... to buy some frames.... Onward and upward. Jennifer Chase: you totally rock.

A smattering of our engagement photos are up on Jen Chase's blog and they are so adorable. We couldn't be happier: full of such whimsy and magic and playfulness. My favorites are the one with Chris reading to me (he's looking down, I'm looking up), the one where he's kissing my forehead, the one where I'm kissing his cheek, the one where he's dipping me, the one.... heck, I like 'em all.

Engagement Photo Session!!

Our check to Ms. Jennifer Chase is off and in the mail, and we've scheduled our engagement photo shoot for Wednesday, October 29th at 4 p.m. Jennifer has a few great ideas up her sleeve. We thought we'd begin the session at Oatlands itself--near the old barns with broken windows and the mountain scape of the Blue Ridge--and then finish up our last hour in historic downtown Leesburg at a bookstore on Main Street (picking up on our literary theme). I have no idea what to wear for the shoot (!), but Chris and I were thinking our best pair of blue jeans and cool colors to contrast with the peak foliage! Stay tuned for photos... coming your way!
